Sunak, who resigned as PM in July 2024, will work part-time advising the bank's clients with his "unique perspectives and insights" on global politics and the economy, the company said. He remains the Conservative MP for Richmond and Northallerton in Yorkshire.

F ormer UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has returned to his old stomping grounds at Goldman Sachs as a senior adviser. The investment bank announced that Sunak, who led the UK from October 2022 to July 2024, will offer global clients insights on "macroeconomic and geopolitical issues."

According to a report in The Guardian, Rishi Sunak will not be drawing a salary for his new role. Instead, he will donate his earnings from Goldman Sachs to the Richmond Project, a charitable initiative he founded to promote numeracy and educational development in his constituency.
