The Carson Valley Parade of Lights is scheduled to illuminate the streets of Douglas County on Saturday, December 7. The road will be closed at approximately 4:30 p.m. and the parade starts at 5 p.m.

While the Winter Storm Warning is in effect until Wednesday at 4 a.m., the storm appears to be trending warmer with snow projections cut back in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
