Miley Cyrus is being sued for copyright infringement by Tempo Music Investments over her 2023 hit song “Flowers.” The company is alleging that Cyrus, 31, copied Bruno Mars ‘ song, “When I Was Your Man,” which was released 10 years earlier. The lawsuit claims that Cyrus “intentionally” copied the song due to the similarities between both tracks.

As a reminder, Miley announced "Flowers" three years after finalizing her divorce from Liam and then released it on his birthday. Meanwhile, fans pieced two and two together, and realized that the lyrics to "Flowers" seemingly reference "When I was Your Man," which Liam allegedly dedicated to Miley once upon a time.
