Jan 17, 2024 · The photo sums up the issue perfectly. All protection for vulnerable users stops at the start of a rural lane. No separate cycle lane or footpath and a speed limit only 10mph less than a 4-lane motorway once the road becomes narrower and has more hazards including the very high possibility of a horse rider, cyclist or walker around that blind bend.
